1) Dream a Dream

Founded in 1999, Dream A Dream is registered Charitable trust which seeks to empower children from vulnerable background by developing life skills and at the same time sensitizing to community through active volunteering leading to non-discriminatory society where unique differences are appreciated. Over the last 11 years, over 8000 children and young people have been impacted through our Life Skills Programs. Currently, we enhance the lives of 3000 children from 1500 volunteers who represent an increasingly sensitive community using effective mediums such as sports, creative arts, mentoring, computer education and outdoor experiential camps.

2) Parikrma Humanity Foundation

Parikrma Humanity Foundation, a non-profit organization, was formed in 2003 as a response to the growing divide between those who can afford “good” education and the poor and the marginalised who have access only to the out-dated mass schooling system. Parikrma’s vision is to create a sustainable and scalable Model of educating the poorest so that they can break out of their debilitating condition.Parikrma runs and manages 4 Centres of Learning and 1 Junior College for 1300 children who come from 53 slum communities and 5 orphanages across Bangalore.

3) Rotary IT Corridor

Rotary Bangalore IT Corridor Charitable Trust is engaged in making a transformational and sustainable change in the lives of those of live in Whitefield, Bangalore. It seeks to help the less fortunate through interventions in the sectors of Education, Health and Environment. We have adopted a Government school, built a toilet block, a classroom and provide free mid-day meals besides supporting curricular and extra-curricular support by way of staff, etc. We also conduct regular medical camps, provide free surgeries, organise blood donation camps, conduct polio vaccination drives etc. RBITC has donated an ambulance for use in Whitefield area, a bus to transport villagers to Sankara Eye Hospital in Whitefield for surgeries. We provide scholarships for higher education and vocational training. We have started an ambitious Green Dream project to plant one lakh trees in Whitefield and are also trying to make Whitefield Plastic free.

4) Samarthanan

Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled has been working since 1997 to empower the visually impaired, disabled and underprivileged people in India. Samarthanam is working to support the visually impaired, disabled and underprivileged to keep in pace with the rest of the society by providing quality education, accommodation, nutritious food, vocational training, placement based rehabilitation to achieve personal independence. Samarthanam works towards creating an inclusive society which provides opportunities—without any discrimination—for the development of the visually impaired, disabled and the underprivileged people.

Do I need to pay anything to get an online fundraising page?

NO! Wishberry.in will make your online fundraising page for you for FREE!

Do I need to commit to fundraising a certain amount?

NO! You can choose to fundraise as much as you like, be it Rs. 500 or Rs. 50,000. In case you reach your target quickly you can contact Wishberry.in: fundraising@wishberry.in or (091) 22 4302 3999 and increase your fundraising target!

What if I don’t receive my fundraising page after filling the fundraising form?

First, make sure that you have entered the right email ID while filling out the form (form link: tbd). If the email ID is correct, check your spam folder in case the email from Wishberry.in ended there. Otherwise, contact Wishberry.in: fundraising@wishberry.in or (091) 22 4302 3999

How do I share my online fundraising page?

The easiest way to share your page is by simply copy-pasting the link to your page in your email inbox and sending it out to everyone! All sharing options are available on your fundraising page itself, so all you have to do is click on the link to your fundraising page and share it through email (click on “share” under your profile image), Facebook (click on “F share”) or Twitter (click on “tweet”).

Who can donate to my online fundraising page?

Absolutely anyone! Wishberry.in, in fact, encourages you to share it with friends, family, colleagues, people abroad from ALL over the world! We accept local and foreign donations.

How can donors contribute?

Donors can visit your online fundraising page by clicking on the link and pay using their debit or credit cards or net banking.

Online contributions: Donors can contribute online using their debit/credit cards, net banking or cash cards through our online payment gateway CC Avenue. Please note that the charge reflected on the credit card statement will be “RandomMotion - Avenues” as RandomMotion Advertising Pvt. Ltd. is the parent company that runs Wishberry.in!

Offline contributions: Donors can contribute offline by sending a cheque addressed to “RandomMotion Advertising Pvt. Ltd.” either to the Wishberry.in office or to the runner. Don’t worry! RandomMotion Advertising Pvt. Ltd. is the parent company that runs Wishberry.in!
Cheque to Wishberry.in office: Donors should write the full name of the runner and their own name, email, phone No. and address (for tax exemption purposes) on the back of the cheque. Cheque to be sent to: 101 Cama Industrial Estate, Sun Mill Compound, Lower Parel, Mumbai 400013. Phone: (022) 4302 3999. Cheques sent to the Wishberry.in office will reflect on the runner’s page online as soon as it is received.
Cheque to runner: Runners must write down all donor details inlcuding full name, email, phone no., and address (for tax exemption purposes) in his/her offline donations kit. Cheques sent to runners will reflect on the runner’s page online as soon as the runner sends his/her donations kit to Wishberry.in (typically close to the Marathon date).

Can I raise funds offline myself? By collecting cash or cheques from donors?
YES! If you have created an online fundraising page, Wishberry.in should have sent you an offline donations kit with your online fundraising page email. Alternatively, you can download the offline donations kit here. This kit has instructions on how to collect donations in the form of cash and cheques and send them to Wishberry.in for processing. Please ensure that all cheques are addressed to “RandomMotion Advertising Pvt. Ltd.” (parent company of Wishberry.in) and record all donor details in the offline donations kit (e.g., name, email, phone no., address, etc.) diligently in order to make sure that the donors receive tax benefits. Once you have finished collecting cash and cheque donations, send your donations kit to the Wishberry.in office: 101 Cama Industrial Estate, Sun Mill Compound, Lower Parel, Mumbai 400013. Phone: (022) 4302 3999. Please note that ALL cash donations have to be consolidated into one cheque addressed to Wishberry.in. We cannot accept hard cash donations.
Wishberry.in will reflect offline donations on the runner’s online page only after receiving the offline donations kit from the runner.

How do I know who has contributed how much to my fundraising page?
At any point of time, you can check total and individual contributions to your fundraising page by visiting Wishberry.in, logging into your account using the email ID you provided us and the password emailed to you. Click on your fundraising page and then click on the red information icon on the right side of the page. Next click on “View all contributions” and all the individual contributions will be mentioned here. Don’t worry, all contributions made offline through cheque will ALSO show online!
Also, donors will ONLY be able to view the total contributions when they visit your online fundraising page. They will NOT be able to see who has given how much.  

How will the money reach the NGO I have chosen?
At the end of the Marathon, Wishberry.in will transfer all the funds to the respective NGOs (all funds will be transferred before 31st March, 2012). Don’t worry, Wishberry.in has individually partnered with each of the NGOs and has a long standing relationship with them. Furthermore, Wishberry.in has several transparency mechanisms in place including detailed MIS, automated donation intimations, etc.

Who will send the tax exemption receipt to the donors?
Once the Marathon is over and the money reaches the NGOs, the NGOs will send across acknowledgements as well tax receipts to all the donors within a 4-6 week period of receiving the funds.

What is RandomMotionAvdertising Pvt. Ltd.?
RandomMotion Advertising Pvt. Ltd. is the name of the parent company that runs Wishberry.in. Please ensure that ALL offline donation cheques are addressed to “RandomMotion Advertising Pvt. Ltd..” Also, note that online donations will reflect as “RandomnMotion – Avenues” on the donor’s credit card statement.
