Dental Camps

Oral hygiene is one of the important aspects of overall health and Rotary Bangalore IT Corridor took initiative to conduct a dental camp for the villagers.

Description

Most of the villagers have very poorly formed and discoloured teeth,  besides maintaining very poor oral hygiene – they even have bath either once a week, once in 10 days or even once a fortnight, if not once a month !!   We organized a mobile dental camp through the Government Dental College, Victoria Hospital Campus, Bangalore,  in partnership with Soroptimist International for this village and two neighbouring villages, Eeruligara Colony (a remote forest tribe), and Aralalu (where the Team involved in the overnight Dental Camp, will be accommodated).   A target crowd of 1500 persons for the dental camp.  On the conclusion of  the dental checkup and treatment,  we gave each of the villagers a toothbrush and tube of paste, so that they can maintain better oral hygiene, going forward.
